The twenty-two year old firey-haired
Peruvian in New York City resists defining her style in any one way or another
– but does admit that she is largely a mix of “grunge, gothic, rocker and
bohemian”. We would agree, and emphasize that of all the “It Girls” we featured, Perez-Garreaud has perhaps the most unique and carefully defined style,
to which she remains faithful through all seasons. The creative old-soul behind
the lifestyle blog Le Happy is, quite
simply, devastatingly cool. She loves Greek mythology, Wicca, Arabic food and,
of course, perfect vintage pieces to mix with her ultra-trendy modern ones.
We
suspect “Lua” (as she calls herself on her blog) is thrilled to see the
catwalks this Fall showing Victorian
inspired gothic motifs – and we can’t help but wonder if she, with close to 2
million followers, might have had something to do with the revival.
