One of our favourite local designers in Lindsay of Lost In Layers.

She hand makes her kimonos locally and sells them on Etsy and at a fabulous new boutique in Inglewood called Bamboo Ballroom. Even making "mini monos" for babies and toddlers and matching ones for Mom if you want too!

PARKSHOW 2015 Spring Summer Runway Fashion Show, Calgary

We received the royal treatment for the location unveiling of this years PARKSHOW put on by the non-profit arts and fashion organization, PARK (Promoting Artists|Redefining Kulture) Starting at the posh Butter Beauty Parlour in Mission and receiving complimentary blow outs to start the evening looking fab.

This is what we wore:

PARK will host its eighth instalment of PARKSHOW on May 23 in the newest north parkade addition at Chinook Centre. The event will bring the coastline to Calgary through an interactive and underground experience transporting guests into a surreal, ocean inspired setting. Showcase emerging designers from across Western Canada. Ten hand  ­picked Canadian designers will fill the runway with their Spring/Summer 2015 collections, including headliner ​Eliza Faulkner ​(Vancouver), along with ​Bano eeMee ​(Calgary), ​SP Badu ​(Calgary), Vivian Lee ​(Toronto/Calgary), ​LUXX RTW ​(Edmonton), ​Suka ​(Edmonton), ​Coutu Kitsch ​(Calgary), Lennard Taylor ​(Winnipeg), ​6 Streets ​(Calgary), ​Forge Apparel ​(Calgary)​, as well as several Canadian Chinook Centre retailers. Featured artist Jennie Vallis (Calgary) will also be showcasing a series of ocean themed installations.

PARIS FASHION SHOW: CPO + Holt Renfrew + Core Shopping + Styleista

We just received the pictures from the CPO fashion show and we are over the moon happy with the results of a lot of hard work and wonderful collaborations with talented individuals and groups. The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra 'Lock into Paris' Fashion Show and Event was a hit!!!

The fashion was exclusive to Holt Renfrew and the venue provided by The Core Shopping Centre. The Nobles Model Management provided the top talent in YYC to grace the runways, Jerome provided the top hair stylists, Holts + Bobbie Brown provided makeup and the styling was all by team Styleista (Brenna and I) #lovewhatwedo
