PARKSHOW 2015 Spring Summer Runway Fashion Show, Calgary

We received the royal treatment for the location unveiling of this years PARKSHOW put on by the non-profit arts and fashion organization, PARK (Promoting Artists|Redefining Kulture) Starting at the posh Butter Beauty Parlour in Mission and receiving complimentary blow outs to start the evening looking fab.

This is what we wore:

PARK will host its eighth instalment of PARKSHOW on May 23 in the newest north parkade addition at Chinook Centre. The event will bring the coastline to Calgary through an interactive and underground experience transporting guests into a surreal, ocean inspired setting. Showcase emerging designers from across Western Canada. Ten hand  ­picked Canadian designers will fill the runway with their Spring/Summer 2015 collections, including headliner ​Eliza Faulkner ​(Vancouver), along with ​Bano eeMee ​(Calgary), ​SP Badu ​(Calgary), Vivian Lee ​(Toronto/Calgary), ​LUXX RTW ​(Edmonton), ​Suka ​(Edmonton), ​Coutu Kitsch ​(Calgary), Lennard Taylor ​(Winnipeg), ​6 Streets ​(Calgary), ​Forge Apparel ​(Calgary)​, as well as several Canadian Chinook Centre retailers. Featured artist Jennie Vallis (Calgary) will also be showcasing a series of ocean themed installations.

March 11, 2015 will be the most sizzling event of the year...Bella is Calgary's Premier Fashion Event, where over 700 of Calgary's community leaders will experience the hottest fashion trends, tantalizing cuisine and amazing auction at Holt Renfrew!

In the past, Bella has raised almost $1million for health priorities in research, education and leading edge technologies in our community. This year, all proceeds raised will be directed to the 'Neonatal Intensive Care Unit' (NICU) at Foothills Medical Centre in order to create the only in-born Level III Tertiary Care Unit in southern Alberta for our tiniest patients.

This event is targeted to bring happiness and healing to many.

Of course the question that begs answering is...WHAT TO WEAR?

Blogger Brunch Sunday!

On Sunday, Katie Marks of Touques and Truffles hosted a beautiful homemade brunch #superblogsunday for some of the Calgary bloggers and fashion influencers in the city. Coffee and grapefruit prossecco, gluten free waffles and sage apple sausages were among the delicious offerings but the best part what the chats and laughs that we all partook in while snapping pics and posting.
