Marsala: Pantone's Color of the Year 2015

Marsala has been named Pantone's colour of the year for 2015. It is a warm hue that is a mix of burgundy, brown, maroon and eggplant, this is especially easy to wear during the colder months. Which in yyc is now and a lot over the next 12 months basically September to April. Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala it's name, this tasteful hue embodies a satisfying richness.

This time of year all I want to do is get cozy. Curl up in soft knits, cashmere or fair-isle leggings. Mostly the idea of getting away to a cabin in the snowy mountains is beyond appealing...but alas, work and duties call!
