Tiffany & Co. 175th Anniversary Luncheon at Model Milk

I was very excited when I recieved my invite to Tiffany & Co.'s 175th Anniversary luncheon!
 

Held at Model Milk, which was just named the #2 in Enroute Magazine's 'Canada's Best New Restaurants' and also list in the '#50 Best Restaurants in Canada' by Macleans. Where Tiffany created a custom 3 course menu -  I had a winter salad, crispy duck leg, chocolate pecan pie with buttermilk ice cream - all to die for!!!

 

 

The room was full of media and bloggers alike. Some of my favorite usual suspects Mr.Fabulous and the Toque Girls.

Office Holiday Party ~ Calgary Herald Photo Shoot

I styled a photo shoot for Tuesday's Calgary Herald Fashion section promoting the CORE's premier shopping event of the year 'Twas the Night.

 

 

 

Here is one of the looks for heading to the after work holiday party with the beautiful and talented Alberta Ballet models Kelley and Hayna.

What to Wear to the Opera or Ballet

Since performances at the Opera or Ballet only run for a select number of nights they are hot ticket events and the perfect time to get dressed to the nines. Otello is on right now at the Calgary Opera and Alberta Ballet's The Nutcracker runs from Dec 14 - 16 in Edmonton and Dec 20 - 24 in Calgary.

A sequined dress from BCBG is the perfect amount of sparkle and class. Paired with a feathered vest from Club Monaco for that extra flair and warmth. 

A Brooks Brothers striped suit paired with a burgundy velvet vest and bow tie is the ultimate in trendy sophistication for the Opera or Ballet this season.

What to Wear ~ To the Theatre

Lots of great shows on at Theatre Calgary, Vertigo or ATP for the Winter. Like the classic 'A Christmas Carol' the 25th anniversary production at Epcore Centre running Nov 29 - Dec 23. The theatre is a little less formal than the opera or ballet, but still a great opportunity to get done up for a night out.

There is nothing more versatile for a man than a sports jacket, dress it up for opening night with a dress shirt and tie or dress it down for a matinee with a t shirt and jeans. Either way this velvet jacket is perfect for a winter night at the theatre.

A lace dress is just the right hint of elegance for the theatre and can be a blank canvas to dress as you like, whether it be opening night or not. Everything you need and more can be found at the CORE.
