I was recently in New York and of course shopping was on the top of my priorities. While strolling around Soho amongst the boutiques and street vendors was a familiar looking shop with an unfamiliar name - "C. Wonder".
It is fun, bright preppy store that is a cross between Tory Burch and Kate Spade.
Retailing everything from women's handbags, shoes and clothing
to jewelry
home decor
to pet accessories
and fun, colorful gadgets, gifts and knick nacks
What a great store but I learn that it comes with a scandal - it was opened but Tory Burch's ex husband, Chris Burch and co-founder of her brand, who still sits on her board. It's all too similar and retails at a slightly lower price point. I decide not to purchase anything but if you are in the area, in the market and aren't bothered by it's rumoured replication, there are great buys to be had.
