Social Media 'It Girl' - Jessica Stein

We “like” It, and We’re Not The Only Ones:

Join us for the next few posts to see our favourite "It Girls":

Jessica Stein (@tuulavintage)

The jury is out on which is longer: the list of
places to which Jessica Stein of the blog Tuula
has travelled, or her legs. This blogger’s
instagram strikes a perfect balance between
showcasing exotic locations, tempting us with
colourful, international breakfasts, and of
course, Stein’s impeccable less-is-more style.
Stein’s power resides in her knack for picking
perfectly on-point, classic, versatile pieces
that will certainly last throughout the season
if not the whole year. Whether it be boyfriend
jeans, classic trenches with modern edges, or
simple hippie-inspired tops – you will want all
the things – even if you can’t wear them on all
the beaches she does.

With almost 2 million
instagram followers, Stein is, in her early
twenties, considered one of the most
influential personal style bloggers in her
native Australia and globally. (Photo credits:

Menswear Trends Fall Winter 2015/2016

One for the boys...Fall + Winter Trends for 2015/2016

Silhouettes are becoming baggier, looser and more relaxed over all. Below are our top 4 trends for the guys who want to embrace the looks from the runways. Note the we have tips provided to suggest more wearable ways to interpret these trends.

The Overcoat: Soft shoulders, relaxed fit, wool

This trend is very wearable as it is but a suggestion would be to buy a size up from your regular size (Ie. if you wear a 38R buy a 40R) this will help fit a suit or sport coat under it with ease.

Sweaters & Turtlenecks: Chunky knits, merino and geometric shapes

Embrace the turtleneck by wearing a chunky knit on cold days paired with jeans and a casual lace up boot.

Green: Rich forest greens in wool, cotton, cashmere

This colour has carried over from 2014 so if you bought some then, you are in luck. Try a few shades of green for a monochromatic look.

Shearling: 70s vibes, bombers, coats and hats

Focus on a small pop of shearling at the collar and pair with a casual look on the weekends.

VMA Fashion Review

The VMA's are where fashion takes a back seat to the music. This can be refreshing because the artists get to have more fun and we can focus on the tunes. Overall the fashion in my opinion was a bit of a fail. See comments below.

BEST

Best #squad: However I feel bad for them, they are becoming arm candy for T Swift

Gigi Hadid: Best colour

Chrissy Teigen: I would wear this

WORST

Kim Kardashian: All the wrong details in all the wrong places

Vanessa Hudgens: Ps. you are not at Coachella!

Britney Spears: All I can think is Ice Capades - why is everyone doing so much of this look? Enough!

Miley Cyrus: I CAN'T! All of her outfits were terrible. Please stop trying to bring raves back.
