No list of fashion “It Girls” would be complete without a big order of The Blonde Salad. Chiara Ferragni started her website in 2009 for $10, and today she is the head of two multi-million dollar businesses. Chiarra’s rise to international fame was so impressive and innovative, that Harvard University ran a study on her blog and brand to analyze the creative “relatability” that is at the core of her successful internet popularity. I’m not sure there’s anyone else on the planet who could make us covet glittery sneakers with cartoonish faces on them, but Chiarra’s own massively successful shoe-line features just that.
We will no doubt continue to hear from Chiarra in her images, and romantic Italian accent; the only thing silent about this it girl is the “g” in her last name.
